Adult Bible Studies - Spiritual formation, applicable knowledge of the scriptures, friendships and ministry are offered through a variety of classes throughout the year at optional times.
Adult Small Groups - Support, prayer, ministry, Renovare, Purpose Driven and fellowship groups offer spiritual direction and renewal, ministry opportunities, relationships, outreach and care to individuals in groups of 5 to 12 individuals. Some groups are created around particular professions and interests, i.e. teachers, physicians, and gardeners. These groups often meet in homes at times convenient to each group participant.
Adult Sunday School - Every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. we offer a wide range of Bible study classes for all adults of all ages and interests.
Children’s Bible Drill - CBD helps boys and girls in grades 4-6 develop Bible skills, learn the books of the Bible, memorize important verses and learn where key passages of the Bible are located.
Children’s Discipleship - Special classes, offered three times yearly, help boys and girls understand how you become a follower of Jesus and how belief and behavior are related.
Children’s Sunday School - Sunday School serves as the backbone for our ministry to children and preteens. Faithful teachers bring boys and girls face to face with God’s word each week, and use activities to them learn how to apply the Bible to their lives.
Disciple Now - Disciple Now is a weekend focused on growing in your faith and knowledge of the Bible. Students stay in homes throughout the weekend and participate in mission projects and Bible Studies.
Fall Retreat for Children - The Fall Retreat for Children provides boys and girls in grades 4-6 with the opportunity to have lots of fun, make new friends and spend a weekend studying the Bible and learning more about how God wants us to live.
High School Retreat - Each spring, the high school students take a retreat. This is an excellent way to get to know students better. Students spend time studying the Bible together, playing together, worshiping together and just having fun together. During the 2005 retreat, students will be traveling to Gatlinburg. The 2005 theme is “Signs of Life.” During the weekend, students will be discovering the many ways that God speaks to us!
Middle School Retreat - Each spring, the middle school students take a retreat. This is an excellent way to get to know students better. Students spend time studying the Bible together, playing together, worshiping together and just having fun together. During the 2005 retreat, students will be traveling to Camp Loucon. The 2005 theme is “Signs of Life.” During the weekend, students will be discovering the many ways that God speaks to us!
Monday Noon Lunch & Bible Study - Spiritual formation and applicable knowledge of the scriptures are offered with lunch to all interested adults.
Pastor’s Bible Study - On Wednesday evenings, 6:15 p.m. in the Chapel, Pastor Les leads an interactive approach to Bible Study for first time and seasoned Bible students. His approach is to teach through the Bible and make 21 st century applications for our following Christ.
Parents Day Out - Our popular Parents Day Out Ministry is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for children age infants through 2 years old. We provide excellent care, socialization, and hands-on learning for children while offering parents a “break” from ongoing parenting responsibilities.
Preschool & Kindergarten Sunday School - Every Sunday morning at 9:30, young children from birth through Kindergarten-age are greeted by loving teachers who will help them play, learn, pray, handle the Bible, sing, and enjoy one another. Sunday School is designed to complement the home as we work together to lay spiritual foundations.
Small Group Studies-Youth - Several times throughout the year, the youth ministry offers different small group opportunities for students to get to know one another, have fun and grow in their faith.
Super 6 Retreat - The Super 6 Retreat gives 6 th graders and parents the opportunity to have fun, strengthen their relationship and grow in understanding of and appreciation for each other.
Touching the Void - On Wednesday nights from 6 – 7:30 p.m., our youth gather in the youth wing for a time of prayer and Bible Study.
Wayne Oates Media Center - This ministry provides books and reference materials for individual spiritual growth and enrichment and teaching resources.
Weekday Preschool - Begun in 1958, the Weekday Preschool is licensed by the State of Kentucky and has an excellent reputation in our community and state. We offer classes for children who are 3-5 years of age. Each class is taught by teachers who are trained in helping young children learn in developmentally age-appropriate (and fun!) ways. Our classes are offered Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Women’s Bible Studies - A variety of Bible studies are offered specifically for women at various sites, times, and days of the week. Studies have included materials by Beth Moore, Liz Curtis Higgs, Ruth Graham Lott, and many other excellent teachers.
Youth Sunday School - Every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. we offer Bible study classes for grades 6 through 12.
