OUR LOCAL MISSION PARTNERS
Baptist Fellowship Center
Central District Baptist Association - We are assisting with the partnership efforts of African American congregations via this organization.
Christmas Connection - Participating through the hands-on giving of Christmas gifts to children from the inner city of Louisville. This mission ministry is a partnership with Portland's Baptist Tabernacle and the Baptist Fellowship Center.
Good Samaritan House - This Christian ministry, begun by SMBC's Suzanne McElwain Seebold, provides a house-home for men who have been recently released from prison and gives them an opportunity, under the work of Christian supervisors, to begin a new life.
Greater Louisville Reconciliation - This ministry helps us to heal festering racial wounds which cause trauma for our city and state. We are a founding congregation of this organization.
Jefferson Street Chapel - We prepare and serve breakfast to homeless people in downtown Louisville.
Literacy Missions - Through our Women on Missions, we have begun a ministry of teaching people to read.
Long Run Baptist Association - Metro Louisville, from the inner-city to the suburbs, is a great mission field. By joining hands with the churches of our Association, we can provide a much greater witness in this area.
St. Matthews Area Ministries - This ministry is a combined effort of thirteen churches of several denominations in the St. Matthews area which attempt to meet the social needs of community residents.
St. Matthews Pastoral Counseling Center - This center provides valuable ministry to many people from our church and from the larger community.
